Material Covered:
- Front to back shear training to include the blade flip process, blade seat maintenance,
proper shimming, welding maintenance of upper & lower jaws, evaluation and maintenance
of main pivot area, shear cylinder evaluation, speed valve adjustments, swivel manifold
and rotation bearing inspection, proper fit up to the carrier, what to cut/what not to cut.
- Carrier trouble shooting to include hydraulic/electrical circuit evaluation and inspection,
checking flows and pressures to all shear circuits, elimination of carrier for sub-par shear
operation, do’s and don’ts of shear use.
- Combined classroom and shop/field training on new and used shears! All classroom training
material is provided!!
